ADVERTISEMENT AND INVITATION TO BID Sealed proposals will be re- ceived electronically via the PennBid program by Bethel Township for the 2026 Paving Project until 10:00 a.m. pre- vailing time on Monday, July 6, 2026. The bid results will be posted on PennBid shortly thereafter All bidding documents and specifications are available at no cost on PennBid: https://pennbid.bonfirehub. com Each proposal must be ac- companied by a certified check, bank cashier's check, or bid bond (in the required form) for ten percent (10%) of the bid total. The work generally includes wearing course overlay and incidental paving work on South Faust Road (from Old Route 22 to Hickory Drive). The project work is located entirely in Bethel Township, Berks County, Pennsylvania. Individual descriptions of the work for each bid item are set forth in the bid documents. Questions shall be submitted via the "Public Q&A” feature within PennBid. Pursuant to Act 89, bidders are advised that prevailing wage rates and record-keep- ing procedures established by the Pennsylvania Department of Labor & Industry shall ap- ply for bids over $100,000 and that minimum salaries and wages as set forth in the Con- tract Documents shall be paid on the project. Bethel Township hereby re- serves the right, which is un- derstood and agreed to by all bidders, to reject any and all bids and to waive any omis- sions, errors, mistakes, de- fects, or irregularities in any bid at its sole discretion.
