OFFICIAL BOROUGH OF DRAVOSBURG ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Notice is hereby given that separate and sealed proposals will be received by the Borough of Dravosburg, 226 Maple Avenue, Dravosburg, PA 15034, until at 11:00 AM, prevailing time, Monday, June 22, 2026 and opened and read immediately thereafter for the following project: COLLECTION, REMOVAL AND DISPOSAL OF RESIDENTIAL, RUBBISH, GARBAGE & HOUSEHOLD RUBBISH This project consists primarily of the collection and disposal of residential garbage within the Borough of Dravosburg. Copies of Information for Bidders, Contract, Form of Proposal and Bid Forms, Plans and Specifications may be examined or obtained for bidding purposes from the GLENN ENGINEERING & ASSOCIATES, 14920 Route 30, North Huntingdon, PA 15642. Copies of may be obtained in person at Glenn Engineering & Associates, Ltd. At No Charge. Requests for mailing will be honored with an additional fee of Eighteen Dollars ($18.00). NO documents will be issued within 48 hours of the scheduled bid opening. Each proposal shall be accompanied by a Bidder's Bond, Cashier's Check, or Certified Check in favor of the Borough of Dravosburg in the amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount of the proposal, as evidence the bidder will accept and carry out the conditions of the contract in case of award. This contract shall be subject to the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act of August 15, 1961, P.L. 987, as amended, 43 P.S. Section 165 et seq. Workers shall not be paid less than the prevailing minimum wages as set forth in the applicable schedule No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days once filed with the Borough of Dravosburg.
