ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Sealed Bids for construction of Crane Creek Storm Damage Repair, addressed to Jeremy Fennell, Senior Engineer, will be received at the office of the Upper Mohawk Valley Regional Water Board, doing business as, Mohawk Valley Water Authority (MVWA) 1 Kennedy Plaza, Utica, New York, no later than 11:00 A.M. on Thursday June 18th, 2026. Any Bids received after the specified time will not be considered. Bids will then be publicly opened and read. The Project contemplated consists of stream restoration at Crane Creek. Repair includes restoration of the creek bed to keep adequate cover over the water main and mitigate erosion while maintaining flow paths. Restoration involves the use of stepped extra-heavy boulders, reusing existing site fill, and bio stabilization. The Work shall be substantially completed on or before November 30th, 2026, and completed and ready for final payment in accordance with Paragraph 15.06 of the General Conditions on or December 31st, 2026. Bidding Documents may be examined in Owner’s office. Bidding documents can also be emailed free of charge by emailing Jolie Murray at jmurray@mvwa.us. Plans and Specifications are explanatory of each other, but should any discrepancy appear, or misunderstanding arises, the explanation of the MVWA Principal Engineer shall be final and binding. Each Bid must be submitted on the prescribed Bid Form and accompanied by Bid security as prescribed in the Instructions to Bidders.
