CITY OF ONEIDA 00001 INVITATION TO BID Pursuant to a resolution dated March 3, 2026, the Common Council of the City of Oneida requests sealed bids for the Water Treatment Plant Boiler Replacement. The initial bid opening was held on May 13th and has been extended. Bids will now be received on June 17th, 2026, at the office of the purchasing agent, City of Oneida, 109 North Main Street, Oneida, New York, 13421, until 10:00 AM. local time, and there at said time publicly opened and read aloud. The bids shall be submitted in an envelope marked "Water Treatment Plant Boiler Replacement", for the replacement of the current Water Treatment Plant H.B. Smith Series 18 cast iron boiler. The bid documents may be found at the City of Oneida website: www.oneidacityny.gov. Copies of the bid documents may also be examined at no cost at the City of Oneida, Water Superintendent, 109 North Main Street, Oneida, New York, 13421. Questions concerning these contract documents shall be directed via email to Drew Campany, Water Superintendent: acampany@oneidacityny.gov. The CITY is exempt from the payment of sales and compensating use taxes of the State of New York and of cities and counties thereof on all material, equipment and supplies sold to the owner pursuant to this contract. Also exempt from such taxes are purchases by the contractor and his subcontractors of (A) Materials, equipment and supplies for use in erecting and improving any real property included in the project, provided that such Published in Daily Sentinel (Oneida, Herkimer and Madison County County) on 2026-05-16.
