DOUGLAS COUNTY REAL ESTATE SALE Bids will be received online at www.WisconsinSurplus.com, Item #26-812 up to 10:00 a.m., on Monday, June 29, 2026 . Bids will be reviewed Tuesday , June 30, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. , in the Government Center, Room 201, 1316 North 14th Street, on each parcel of land described below. Note: Legal descriptions may be abbreviated. CONDITIONS OF BID/SALE The following applies to all Douglas County land bids and sales: (1) No bid will be accepted for less than the minimum bid amount of the parcel as listed on the advertisement for bid (except for previously advertised property). Balance in-full (High Bid + Buyers Fee + Deed Transfer Fee) due to Wisconsin Surplus no later than 4:30 pm on August 28, 2026. Douglas County reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to award the bid most advantageous to Douglas County; (2) Bids are awarded based on the following criteria: (a) Dollar value; (b) Prospective use of property; (c) Prior ownership; (d) Adjacent property ownership; (e) Taxability of property upon transfer; (f) Build ability under present zoning codes; (g) Access; (h) Delinquent real estate taxes owed by bidder; and (i) Any other criteria the Land and Development Committee wishes to consider to evaluate any bid; (3) All mineral rights are reserved by Douglas County; (4) It is the responsibility of the bidder to: (a) Determine whether the proposed use of the property is in compliance with all zoning ordinances and wetland laws and all other county Published in Superior Telegram (Douglas County) on 2026-06-13.
