INVITATION TO BID Parking Lot Restoration THE TOWN OF THURMONT, MD. IS ACCEPTING BID PROPOSALS FOR THE FOLLOWING PROJECT: The Commissioners of Thurmont are requesting bids for the restoration of the Town Municipal Parking Lot to include resurfacing, paint striping, new sidewalk, new curb/gutter and landscaping as indicated on drawings. Scope of Work: Contractor shall, per bid documents, provide all equipment and labor needed to: 1. Remove existing curb/gutter and replace with asphalt. 2. Remove concrete sidewalk and install new. 3. Install new landscape islands with header curb. 4. Resurfacing entire parking lot and a portion of Pollys Alley. 5. Paint new striping of parking spaces, handicap spaces and direction arrows. 6. Plant landscaping (after Sept. 15th). Documents: Copies of the contract documents may be obtained at the Town of Thurmont Town Office, 615 East Main Street on and after June 8, 2026. Documents for bidding are furnished by the Town of Thurmont. A MANDATORY Pre-Bid Meeting will be held at 615 East Main Street, Thurmont, MD at 10:00 AM on Monday June 22, 2026 to inspect the site and make inquiries to town staff. Prospective bidders who fail to attend the Pre-Bid Meeting will be disqualified. Sealed bids will be received at the Thurmont Municipal office building located at 615 East Main Street, P.O.
