Project activities are Federally financed under Title I Community Development Act of 1974, as amended. The minimum wage rates to be paid to laborers, mechanics and subcontractors engaged in the construction of this project shall be the latest wage rates established by the Secretary of Labor and State Industrial Commissioner, whichever is greater. All bidders must comply with the President’s Executive Order 11246, as amended, and Non-Discrimination and Equal Employment Opportunity requirements as set forth in the contract documents. There will be contracting priorities for businesses that hire or are owned by low-income persons if total project costs exceed $200,000.
