About this solicitation

The purpose of this solicitation is intended establish contractor(s) for the School District of Manatee County to provide maintenance inspections for lift stations and grease traps, emergency removal and hauling services for grease traps and septic tanks, hourly rate for repairs and a percentage markup from cost for materials for the repairs. The successful contractor(s) shall be a state licensed septic tank contractor. The successful contractor(s) shall have an experienced lift stations technician capable of removing and replacing lift station pumps. The Contractor(s) shall furnish all materials, labor, tools, equipment and supervision necessary to complete requested project. This service will be utilized on an “as needed” basis. The successful contractor(s) is required to off-load all loads in accordance with the existing legal requirements, and to load and dispose of waste products in a manner that does not create a public nuisance or threat to public health. Any spillage, accidental or otherwise, that occurs at or off the facility site, or any other site, shall be the responsibility of the contractor to completely remove and sanitize in accordance with regulations. All waste shall be disposed of per the Department of Environmental Protection guidelines. All disposal fees shall be included in pricing submitted by the vendor. The successful contractor(s) shall furnish and include in their bid the cost of all labor, supervision, equipment, disposal fees, fuel costs, and Specifications and the quality standards of service set forth in this bid. The District intends to award this solicitation to multiple responsive and responsible bidder(s) as best meets the needs of the District. It is anticipated that the bidder(s) who propose the best pricing may be utilized in a larger capacity, however the District may choose any awarded supplier to provide these services that best meets its needs. This may include but is not limited to pricing, scheduling, etc.
