Project details

The scope of this service contract encompasses furnishing dumpsters for various Metropark sites and facilities located throughout Lucas County, Ohio. The successful bidder will provide waste collection and disposal services at approved and permitted facilities in Ohio or the receiving state. The contract term is three (3) years, with an option to extend for one (1) year, up to a maximum of five (5) years, under the same terms and conditions. Bids must be valid for 90 days from the date of opening, and all quoted prices must remain valid through February 28, 2030. The contract is fixed-price with annual pricing for each site. The successful bidder must furnish a 100% performance bond. Workers’ compensation and occupational disease coverage must be maintained. The contractor must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, including the Americans with Disabilities Act and the Drug-Free Workplace Act. The contract may be extended at the discretion of Metroparks Toledo. The contract is governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, and any litigation must be brought in Lucas County, Ohio.
