The Contractor shall conduct emergency repairs to the riverbank erosion at this location due to Matanuska River high water levels. Repairs are necessary to repair the breach of the river back to halt further flooding and prevent erosion of the Old Glenn Highway’s structural section. Work includes traffic maintenance, clearing, fill, riprap, and soil stabilization. All work as directed by the Engineer, with measurement and method of payment as directed by the Engineer and in accordance with Section 109 of the 2020 Standard Specifications, and agreed to by the parties.
