Sealed bids for furnishing the following item will be received at the Case House School Administration Building, 89 Wellesley Street, Weston, MA, 02493, until the time specified below at which time the bids will be publicly opened and read: ITEM BID OPENING Bid: Overhead Door Maintenance Services July 9th, 2026 @2:00 pm Bidders may obtain bid documents online at www.westonma.gov/bids starting June 24th, 2026 at 8:00 AM. General Bids will be opened on July 9th, 2026, at 2:00 PM at the same location. Each Bid must be accompanied by a bid security consisting of a BID BOND, CASH, or, CERTIFIED CHECK issued by a responsible bank or trust company in the amount of 5% of the bid price. Pre-Bid Conference and Site Visit will be held as specified within the description of scope of work. It is optional that prospective bidders have a representative in attendance. A performance bond in an amount equal to one hundred (100%) percent of the total amount of the contract price with a surety company qualified to do business in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts will be required for the faithful performance of the contract as well as a labor and materials bond in an amount equal to one hundred (100%) percent of the total contract price. All bids for this project are subject to applicable public bidding laws of Massachusetts, including G.L. c.149, § §44A through 44H, as amended. Attention is directed to the minimum wage rates to be paid as determined by the Commissioner of Labor and Workforce Development and the weekly payroll record submittal requirements under the provisions of Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 149, Section 26 through 27D inclusive. Attention is further directed to the requirements of G.L.
