NASSAU COUNTY REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL PUBLIC NOTICE REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP) #CC0515-2666 The Sheriff’s Department (“NCSD”) of Nassau County, New York (the “County”) is currently seeking proposals from Qualified Vendors (“Qualified Vendors”) located and authorized to do business in the State of New York, to provide inmate commissary services and the operation of the inmate banking system at the Nassau County Correctional Facility. The purpose of the RFP is to provide Nassau County with proposals that will culminate in the development and execution of a contract with one or more vendors who NCSD determines to be eligible to provide inmate commissary services and the operation of the inmate banking system for procurement by NCSD NCSD may select vendors from among responding vendors based on a thorough analysis of each business’s ability to provide the County with the highest quality services at the most cost-effective fees.
