The Patrick Leahy Burlington International Airport was recently awarded a grant as part of the Airport Terminal Program through the Federal Aviation Administration. The grant is to be used to deploy freestanding, ADA-Compatible Lactation pods and smart technology for existing rooms. The grant can be used for replacing stations as well. Increasing the number of predictable, well-managed lactation spaces will reduce passenger clustering outside locked or unavailable rooms. More reliable access and fewer facility disruptions support safe, more efficient passenger movement, indirectly aiding operation safety. Locations: Chittenden
