Request for Proposals The City of Gamaliel will be taking competitive proposals from qualified consultants with expertise in Emergency Planning, Disaster Recovery, Federal Emergency Man- agement (FEMA) Public Assistance (PA), and Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (HMGP) management interested in providing professional consulting services to assist Gamaliel in recovering from recent disaster events, apply- ing for and managing FEMA grants and other federal and state funding to address existing hazards and mitigate the effects of future disasters, and planning and preparing for future events. The bidder should include their professional qualifications, years of experience, and relevant work history, as propos- als will be scored using these criteria. The bidder should also include the proposed scope of work and how they will charge for their services. The proposals must be delivered by hand or by mail to the City of Gamaliel P.O. Box 126, 340 Main Street Gamaliel, KY 42140. All competitive proposals must be received by 2pm July 10, 2026; no late proposals will be accepted. Proposals will be opened and publicly read on the July 13, 2026, regularly scheduled Commission meeting at 6pm at City of Gamaliel 340 Main Street Gamaliel, Ky 42140.
