About this solicitation

RFP 26-01-PI requests proposals from licensed contractors registered to do business in the State and have experience with the removing, hauling, and properly disposing of RRP or other related experience from public lands on O‘ahu. Refer to the Objectives and Measurable Outcomes section regarding the specific requests. Applicants shall propose a project to remove, haul, and properly dispose of RRP from public lands on O‘ahu and to control and mitigate the spread of RRP in the county. Priority will be given to eligible contractors that have experience with removing, hauling, and properly disposing of RRP or related experience on public lands. Experience with the control and mitigation of the spread of RRP on O‘ahu will be considered in the evaluation of the proposals. To achieve this goal, the DAB announces the availability of approximately $150,000 in general funds for this Biosecurity Project to control and mitigate the spread of RRP on O‘ahu. Proposals are encouraged from eligible Hawaii-registered licensed contractors registered to do business in the State and with experience with the removal, hauling, and properly disposing of RRP from public lands or related experience on O‘ahu.
