The successful Bidder/Contractor(s) shall be responsible for providing tree trimming, maintenance and removal of trees that have been identified as hazardous, dead, diseased, structurally compromised, or otherwise determined to pose a risk to persons or property at the prices specified herein during the term of the agreement to be used on an as needed basis by the District. The performance of the successful Bidder(s) shall be in accordance with the terms of the specifications set forth herein. Failure to comply with these requirements may be cause for Bid rejection or award cancellation. The District requires qualified and insured arboricultural and/or tree care contractors to provide a full range of professional tree services across school campuses and district-owned properties. The work encompasses tree removal, trimming, preservation, and vegetation management activities that support the health and safety of students, staff, and the public, while maintaining the aesthetic and ecological integrity of facility grounds. Services shall be performed in compliance with applicable Florida statutes, local ordinances, and current International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) standards and Best Management Practices (BMPs). Contractors are expected to possess demonstrated experience in urban and institutional arboriculture, with the equipment, personnel, and technical qualifications necessary to execute complex tree work in active, occupied school environments. All work shall be coordinated with District personnel to minimize disruption to school operations, ensure the safety of students and staff, and comply with applicable noise ordinances, work hour restrictions, and site access requirements.
