Upper Wheeler Reservoir Geotech Investigation WENATHEE HEIGHTS RECLAMATION DISTRICT NOTICE TO CONSULTANTS FOR UPPER WHEELER RESERVOIR GEOTECHNICAL INVESTIGATION The Wenatchee Heights Reclamation District (District) is soliciting proposals from qualified geotechnical consulting firms (Consultant) with expertise in earthen embankment dam investigations, evaluation, and design. This agreement will be for approximately 1 year in duration, with the option for the District to extend it for additional time and money if necessary. The District owns Upper Wheeler Reservoir, an earthen embankment irrigation reservoir located southwest of Wenatchee, WA, at approximately 4,300 feet in elevation. It has a capacity of approximately 600 acre-feet. The District is seeking a consultant to develop an investigation plan, a subsequent evaluation to identify leakage issues, and prepare a recommendation report for repairs. The Wenatchee Heights Reclamation District reserves the right to amend the terms of this “Request for Proposal” (RFP) to circulate various addenda, or to withdraw the RFP at any time, regardless of how much time and effort consultants have spent on their responses.
