Los Angeles County Fire Department Air Operations is seeking a vendor to provide cleaning and detailing services for its fleet of five (5) Bell 412 and five (5) Sikorsky S70 helicopters. The vendor must be able to provide "as needed" service with a two to five-day notice, and work at the Barton Heliport Facility. The vendor must also be available between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM, including weekends and holidays. The vendor must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in helicopter detailing for Sikorsky S70 and Bell 412 helicopters, including experience with visual inspection of helicopter exteriors and rotor blades, working on active heliport ramps, and polishing acrylic/polycarbonate windows. Additionally, 3 years of experience performing services for a municipality is required. Bidders must provide a minimum of two verifiable references. The contract term is an initial three (3) years with two (2) additional 12-month renewal options. Bids must be submitted online via the Vendor Self Service (VSS) portal. Paper bids will not be accepted.
