The City of Torrington seeks Expressions of Interest for the redevelopment of the 11.5-acre former Brunswick Factory site at 535 Migeon Avenue. In the event of the closure of City Hall, the bid will be opened on the following business day at 11:00 AM when City Hall is open. No fax or e-mail Bids will be accepted. Bidders must register on the City’s website at www.torringtonct.gov/bids to download the bid documents under “OPEN BIDS”. Those without internet access may call (860) 489-2225 to request the bid documents. All questions shall be submitted in writing to the City Purchasing Agent no later than July 15, 2026, at 11:00 am. A pre-bid site walk will take place at 11:00 A.M. on July 8, 2026, at 535 Migeon Avenue, Torrington, CT 06790. Bidders are highly encouraged to attend the site walk, but are not required to do so as a prerequisite to submitting a response to this RFQ. The City of Torrington reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive technicalities, or to award the contract to a bidder other than the lowest bid, and to award the contract as it feels will best serve the public interest.
