Project details

The Department of the Air Force is soliciting offers for the procurement of five (5) new, unused PortaCount Model 8040 Respirator Fit Test Machines, inclusive of a comprehensive 5-year extended warranty covering all parts and labor for repairs due to normal use or manufacturing defects, and annual factory calibration to maintain measurement accuracy. The scope includes initial delivery, warranty service, and technical support. The equipment must be capable of testing all tight-fitting respirators with ≥99% filter efficiency, including SCBA, CBRN masks (e.g., M50/M51), and elastomeric half/full facepieces, using Condensation Nuclei Counter (CNC) technology to measure ambient aerosol concentrations inside and outside the mask simultaneously. The system must support real-time fit testing, feature a touchscreen interface, and allow data transfer via WiFi, Bluetooth, and USB-C. The machines must be portable, weighing no more than 5.0 lbs, and include a ruggedized transport case. The contractor shall coordinate delivery with Jesse Wagner, GS-11, at 301 Comanche Trail, Bldg. 3453, Goodfellow AFB, TX 76908, at least 48 hours in advance.
