This project will consist of the replacement of approximately 3,620 linear feet (LF) of existing 6-foot high security fencing with 10-foot-high wildlife exclusion fencing. The wildlife fencing upgrade for the airfield will consist of the following components: All fence will be 10-foot galvanized chainlink fence fabric with three-strand barbed wire and a 4-foot buried wildlife exclusion skirt. There will be no top rail on any fence, only a top wire. Where practical, the fence will have 5-foot clear areas on each side. In-kind adjustments will be made to the landscaping, as needed, to provide necessary clearance. New access gates will be constructed to be manually operated, but will have v-tracks installed and will be a rolling-type with a 3-inch maximum gap between the bottom rail and the top of the V-rail. Concrete pads will be poured for the V-tracks. New gates will not be installed with operators, but will be prepared for operator installation. Project Duration 90 calendar days to substantial completion and 30 calendar days to final. Liquidated damages $1,685.00/day
