Columbus City Schools has around 50-100 floor tile patching jobs annually that have no associated asbestos flooring removal as part of the repair. We're looking for a flat rate for patching between 1 and 100 tiles within a room or section of hallway. We'll need the vendor to inspect nearby tiles to ensure there are no loose ones in the vicinity and replace those as well. CCS will provide the floor tiles and glue to be used. If an area is greater than 100 sqft, then a second flat-rate charge may be billed. This work can take place while student are in session if students can be out of the area. Scheduling is a little complicated, after-hours work may be needed. All questions will be answered here on the Public Purchase website. The deadline for asking questions is close of business 7/9, and all answers will be made available by close of business 7/10. Work will be evaluated by CCS staff for performance standards. Columbus City Schools has established an Outreach Program to increase participation of businesses designated as Local Economically Disadvantaged Enterprises (LEDE). The Board of Education (BOE) has established an aspirational goal of 20% participation by business designated as LEDE. Vendors are strongly encouraged to use a good faith effort to support the BOE in achieving the Districts LEDE participation goals.
