Merced County Association of Governments (MCAG) is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide and maintain a hosted Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) phone system for MCAG, the Transit Joint Powers Authority for Merced County (TJPAMC), the Yosemite Area Regional Transportation System (YARTS), and the Merced County Regional Waste Management Authority (MCRWMA). The selected service provider must deliver a system supporting 80 total seats (76 VoIP desk phones, 4 conference phones), including unlimited nationwide calling, web-based call management, voicemail-to-email, auto-attendant, call forwarding, call rules, directory dialing, extension dialing, music on hold, call park, and call center reporting. The system must support 4 call center agents, 10 call center users, 10 call recording users (90-day retention), and 5 queue users. The provider must conduct a network assessment, provide training for administrators and end-users at no cost, ensure failover and redundancy, and deliver a transition plan with a dedicated project manager. The evaluation will be based on qualifications (25 points), system maintenance (20 points), hardware compatibility (20 points), understanding of requirements (15 points), references (10 points), and cost (10 points).
