The scope of work includes approximately 1,500 linear feet of new 8-inch zinc coated ductile iron water main with valves, hydrants, and service connections to replace the aging infrastructure in the general area of NE 206th St and NE 205th St between NE 26th Ave and West Dixie Hwy. The project also includes flushing and air release assemblies, testing and disinfection of the new water main, abandonment of existing pipe that will be removed from service, and the maintenance of traffic (MOT) during construction. Additional work comprises restoration of the pavement, sidewalk, landscaping, and any other disturbed areas. Final restoration shall return both the site to a condition equal to or better than their original state. All new facilities must be installed, tested, and commissioned to achieve full operational readiness.
