CITY OF HOLYOKE INVITATION FOR BIDS (IFB) IFB NO. 2026-58 Annex Painting 4th Floor FOURTH FLOOR INTERIOR PAINTING CITY HALL ANNEX HOLYOKE, MASSACHUSETTS The City of Holyoke, acting through its Purchasing Department, invites sealed bids from qualified contractors for interior painting services on the Fourth Floor of the City Hall Annex located at 20 Korean Veterans Plaza, Holyoke, Massachusetts. This project is funded with Federal Funds. Respondents will be verified for their eligibility to receive Federal Funds and must comply with all Federal Regulations including Part 200. The work shall be performed in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 149 and shall include all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, insurance, tools, transportation, permits, cleanup, and incidentals necessary to complete the work described herein. PROJECT DESCRIPTION The project consists of painting walls, ceilings, and trim throughout the Fourth Floor of the City Hall Annex. The City will select final paint colors after contract award in coordination with the successful bidder. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and incidentals necessary to complete the work, including but not limited to: Protection of all furniture, fixtures, equipment, flooring, and adjacent surfaces, Cleaning, sanding, patching, caulking, and preparing all surfaces for painting, Filling nail holes, minor cracks, and surface imperfections, Spot priming repaired or exposed surfaces as required. Application of two (2) finish coats on all walls. Application of two (2) finish coats on all ceilings. Painting of existing painted trim, window trim, and door frames. Daily cleanup and removal of debris generated by the work. Final cleaning of all work areas upon completion. PROJECT COORDINATION AND PHASING The Fourth Floor is occupied by City staff and shall remain operational during the project.
