INVITATION FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS FOR REAL ESTATE SERVICES The Northern Indiana Commuter Transportation District (“NICTD”) is soliciting sealed proposals from qualified firms to provide Professional Real Estate Services for the South Bend Realignment Project (“Rail Project”), as more fully described and defined in the Real Estate Services Request for Proposals (“RFP”) packet, as prepared by NICTD. All proposals must meet NICTD’s terms and conditions and Technical Specifications as further described in the RFP packet. SSI: By law, transit agencies such as NICTD are required to protect sensitive security information (“SSI”). SSI is any information whose disclosure may compromise the security of the traveling public, transit employees or transit infrastructure. Protecting SSI means restricting its distribution and controlling access to it. Only persons with a “need to know” may access SSI. Potential proposers for the Rail Project are considered entities with a “need to know” this SSI. Because NICTD must restrict access to and distribution of SSI, NICTD will be posting the RFP Solicitation Documents that contain SSI to its online, secure document sharing site at www.nictdplanroom.com. In order to obtain access to the secure document sharing site, potential proposers will be required to execute a non-disclosure agreement which addresses the appropriate handling, storage, use, reproduction, transmittal and destruction of the SSI (“NDA”).
