NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS Hammond Gateway Transit Oriented Development The Hammond Redevelopment Commission is seeking proposals from a qualified mixed-use developer for the development of a Transit-Oriented-Development (“TOD”) site within the vicinity of the Northern Indiana Commuter Transportation District (“NICTD”) South Shore Rail Hammond Gateway Station as detailed within the Request for Development Proposals (“RFP”). The full Request for Proposals is available upon request. Proposal Submission Requirements: 1. Statement of Interest. Describe your interest in developing this significant mixed use property in Hammond, Indiana. Specify the approximate location of the real estate bid on and the amount of real estate requested. 2. The Bid Amount. minimum bid $372,167.00 ($.91 s/f) 3. Vision. Describe your vision for this site. 4. Experience. List similar types of projects you have completed. 5. Deliverables: Statement of Qualifications for the development team; Organization Chart; List of previous projects; Proposed project budget; Proposed project schedule; Schematic Design Documents; and 5% earnest money check Proposals must be received in their entirety in the Commission’s Offices by July 21, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. and include a cashier’s check or certified check in the amount of 5% of the value of the parcel, payable to the order of the City of Hammond (the “Proposal Requirements”).
