LEGAL NOTICE Sealed proposals for SEN –CR5/CR43 Pavement Resurfacing will be received at the Office of the Seneca County Commissioners, 111 Madison Street, Tiffin, Ohio 44883 until 10:00 am local time, June 16, 2026 at which time and place said proposals will be publicly opened and read. The final completion date is October 2, 2026. The project shall include the pavement milling, widening, resurfacing and placement of pavement markings along CR5 from State Route 18 North to CR60; and the pavement milling, resurfacing and placement of pavement markings along CR43 from State Route 67 North to State Route 101. The work shall include improvements to approximately 9.9 miles of roadway. Copies of the plans, specifications and other contract documents are on file and also can be obtained on the website www.sencoeng.com Office hours are between 6:00 am and 4:30 pm, Monday through Thursday. Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in Bond form, shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. Each proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experiences on projects of similar size and complexity. The owner intends and requires that this project be completed no later than October 2, 2026.
