NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING OF THE STEUBEN LAKES REGIONAL WASTE DISTRICT TO ENTER INTO A PUBLIC-PRIVATE BUILD OPERATE TRANSFER AGREEMENT PURSUANT TO INDIANA CODE § 5-23 Notice is hereby given that the Board of Trustees (the “ Board ”) of the Steuben Lakes Regional Wast District (the “ District ”) will conduct a public hearing on June 24 th , 2026, at 6:00 p.m. at the Districts’ office located at 8119 W 150 N, Angola, IN 46703. The purpose of the hearing is for the Board and public to hear recommendations in order for the Board to award a guaranteed maximum price public/private partnership contract for a project that consists of the removal and demolition of five (5) existing blowers, equipment pads, piping and electrical gear at the Wastewater Treatment Plant and the replacement of three (3) new District supplied blowers along with the required new piping, pipe supports, control valves, electrical gear and control wiring (the “ Project ”). The hearing shall be open to the public and all attendees shall be given an opportunity to provide public comment and to be heard regarding the recommendations to award a public/private partnership contract. Pursuant to Resolution #2025.07.31 the District created a Proposal Committee (as defined in the Resolution) to score responses to the District’s request for proposals for the Project. The Committee scored the responses and has recommended Selge Construction Co. Inc. be selected for the public/private partnership to facilitate the Project.
