RFP for Leachate Holding Pond REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR LEACHATE HOLDING POND NEW RIVER RESOURCE AUTHORITY Dublin, Virginia Pursuant to the Virginia Public Procurement Act, the New River Resource Authority invites proposals from qualified firms/individuals for construction of a leachate holding pond. The pond will receive leachate via a new force main connection from Pump Station One. The pond will require full lining in compliance with regulatory standards for containment and include a double liner system with an environmentally resistant exposed geomembrane. Site grading will be needed to construct the pond embankments, ensure operational access, and ensure independent operation of the pond versus surrounding surface runoff. Submittals should include but not limited to the following information: 1. Firms’ experiences and qualifications relative to similar projects at solid waste management areas. 2. Experience and qualification of individuals available for assignment to project. 3. Experience and qualifications of any subcontractor that will also be assigned to this project. 4. Demonstrate ability to complete projects on schedule.
