The Wisconsin Conservation Trust (WWCT) ILF Program is purchasing 0.57 wetland bank credits from the Chippewa Service Area. Bids will be evaluated solely on the lowest price for the total credits. The purchase is a one-time event via Purchase Order.
The WWCT ILF Program is looking to purchase 0.57 Chippewa Service Area bank credits of any wetland type (sedge meadow, fresh wet meadow, shrub swamp, bog, shallow marsh, shallow/deep marsh, wooded swamp). The credits may only be from the Chippewa Service Area. The credits offered could be any combination of any type (i.e. 0.20 sedge meadow, 0.30 shrub swamp, and 0.07 bog) as long as they are currently available and add to 0.57 credits. The offered credits could also be just one wetland type (i.e. 0.57 shallow marsh credits). The winning bid will be based completely on the lowest price for the 0.57 total credits. Only one bank will be selected for the entire 0.57 credit purchase. The wetland type of credits will not be taken into consideration when selecting the lowest bid. This is a one-time purchase and a Purchase Order will be issued. The WWCT will need an Affidavit of Credit Purchase from the bidder, similar to other bank credit sales, to document the credit sale. The bidder must then invoice the WWCT for the 0.57 credits. The WWCT would then pay the invoice. Written Question Due: July 21, 2026, 4:30 PM Bids Due: July 31, 2026, 2:00 PM
