NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS ENGINEERING SERVICES The Town of Buffalo, West Virginia Sanitary Board is requesting proposals from qualified individuals or firms to provide professional engineering services in support of a planned project to extend sanitary sewer service and improve existing system capacity in support of planned developments in the area. The planned project will include construction of two new sewer pump stations, new sewer force main, upgrades to the existing wastewater treatment plant and one existing sewer pump station. The selected consultant will be required to (1) design and prepare construction drawings, bid specifications and bid documents, (2) assist in the acquisition of necessary permits and clearances (3) assist in the procurement of construction contracts (4) monitor and inspect construction activities to insure compliance with plans and specifications, (5) review and approve contractor's pay estimates and (6) any other services needed by the Sanitary Board for the successful implementation of the project. All consultants interested in being considered must submit a statement of interest detailing qualifications, technical expertise, management and staffing capabilities and related prior experience. This competitive selection process, compliant with West Virginia Code chapter 5G, is designed to objectively select the consultant who will provide the highest quality of service based on technical qualifications and experience.
