R1158: English Language Learners Professional Development Services MTAC Due Date and Time: This solicitation is open indefinitely. The New York City Department of Education (NYCDOE), on behalf of the Division of English Language Learners and Student Support, (DELLSS) is seeking proposals from organizations experienced in providing high quality, ongoing professional development services to educators of English Language Learners (ELLs). DELLSS provides capacity building and rigorous professional development to teachers and other pedagogues involved in the education of ELLs. DELLSS has brought nationally renowned experts to New York City to assist our educators in implementing best practices across ELL programs for New York City’s children. DELLSS’ top priority is to collaborate with organizations that can deliver the most effective teaching practices to New York City’s instructional leaders and teachers so that they, in turn, can provide coherent, rigorous ELL programs. Therefore, all professional development must be research-based and aligned with the Common Core Learning Standards (CCLS).
