The Ohio State University is seeking a Design-Builder (DB) for the renovation of Lecture Halls 001 and 155 in Jennings Hall, Columbus, OH. The scope includes demolition of existing partitions, ceiling systems, and fixed seating; installation of new ceiling systems, lighting, whiteboards, fixed seating (KI Concerto), carpet, paint, signage, and door hardware. The DB must provide mounting structures for ceiling projectors, electrical modifications, and low-voltage wiring. Field verification of wall dimensions is required. Asbestos abatement and geo-technical investigation for water penetration are required. The DB must comply with OSU branding, sustainability, and safety standards. Construction begins the last week of April 2027, with substantial completion by August 2027. Short-listed firms will attend a pre-proposal meeting and interview. The DB must participate in the EDGE Program and submit required forms. Funding: $1,460,000 total, $1,165,000 construction cost. Prevailing wage requirements apply.
