The Ohio State University is seeking a Design-Builder to renovate Rooms 135 and 145, Room 130, and Corridor X107C in Stillman Hall, Columbus, OH. The scope includes demolition of the shared wall between Rooms 135 and 145, removal of existing electrical and lighting systems, and installation of new lighting compliant with University Building Design Standards. Room 135 will be extended into Room 145 to increase classroom capacity. New finishes, whiteboards, and replacement of markerboards and chair rail are required. Wall patching and surface prep are mandatory. FF&E procurement is excluded. Alternates include flooring replacement in corridors X105C/X106C and finishes/A/V upgrades in lounge areas 103/107. The project is delivered via Design-Build. The Design-Builder must participate in the EDGE Business Assistance Program. Short-listed firms will receive an RFP and must submit a proposal by 11/25/2026. Interviews are scheduled for 11/30/2026. The selected firm will be awarded by December 2, 2026. The project is expected to begin in January 2027, with substantial completion by August 2027.

    Prepare for RFP and interview

    Short-listed firms will receive an RFP and must submit a pricing proposal by November 25, 2026. After submission, firms will be interviewed on November 30, 2026. Interviews will assess team capacity, project approach, and compliance with timeline, budget, and EDGE requirements.
