INVITATION TO BID OKEECHOBEE UTILITY AUTHORITY (OUA) VPS #5 Group Y Septic To Sewer Project Sealed bids will be received by the Okeechobee Utility Authority (hereinafter referred to as Owner), at: Okeechobee Utility Authority office, located at 100 SW 5th Avenue, Okeechobee, FL 34974-4221 until 1:30 P.M. local time on June 25, 2026, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. Any BIDS received after the time specified will not be accepted. The BIDS shall be based on providing all materials, equipment and labor for the construction of the Okeechobee Utility Authority VPS #5 Group Y Septic to Sewer Project. The contractor shall be responsible for providing all materials, equipment and labor for the installation of 4-inch diameter PVC sewer laterals, the decommissioning of the onsite residential septic tanks, connecting into the existing sewer lateral located at the right-of-way of each residence and restoration of the work area. Drawings, specifications and other contract documents may be examined at the Okeechobee Utility Authority Offices, or can be accessed at no cost for download at https://www.demandstar.com. All technical questions shall be addressed in writing and sent to Greg Kennedy at Okeechobee Utility Authority 100 SW 5th Ave, Okeechobee, Florida, 34974 (email: asstexecdir@ouafl.com). BIDDERS shall confine their BIDS to the project in its entirety. Partial BIDS will not be considered. Each BIDDER shall submit with this BID evidence of entity licensed to perform the work and services or qualified by examination to be so licensed.
