Sealed bids will be received at the Office of the City Secretary, on the 3rd Floor of the Charles Beatty Municipal Services Building, 408 S. Rogers, Waxahachie, TX 75165 until 2:00 PM Central Time, Tuesday, June 16th, 2026. Please use the elevator to access the 3rd floor of the Charles Beatty Municipal Services Building. The staircase adjacent to the elevator does not go to the 3rd floor of the building. There will be a public bid opening at 2:00 PM Central Standard Time on June 16th, 2026, in the Mean Green conference room of the Charles Beatty Municipal Services Building, located at 408 S. Rogers, Waxahachie, TX 75165. The project consists of the reconstruction of approximately 1,900 linear feet of Pensacola Avenue from Richmond Lane to the Pensacola Avenue Cul-de-sac, as well as the reconstruction of approximately 400 LF of Chiles Street from Monticello Drive to Charlotte Avenue. This includes reconstructing the existing asphalt roadway to a concrete section consisting of 7" reinforced concrete with 6" of flexible base subgrade. The project also includes the installation of approximately 2,300 LF of 8" water line and approximately 1,000 LF of 8" sanitary sewer line.
