City of Wenatchee 301 Yakima Street Wenatchee, WA 98801 REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS The City of Wenatchee invites qualified material testing firms to submit a Statement of Qualifications to provide material testing services for the 9th Street Rail Crossing Project, CPN 1801. This project will construct safety improvements along 9th Street at the rail crossing, which will replace and install curbs, sidewalks, HMA, illumination, and other associated work. This project is estimated to start in July of 2026 and is estimated to be substantially complete by October 2026 with physical completion estimated by December 2026. Interested firms must have experience in providing material sampling and testing services in accordance with the requirements of the current edition of the Washington State Department of Transportation’s (WSDOT) Standard Specifications for the following materials: (1) Subgrade soils; (2) Bases; (3) Cement Concrete; and (4) Hot Mix Asphalt. Firms must have a current Certificate of Accreditation from AASHTO demonstrating conformance with AASHTO R 18 and AASHTO Accreditation policies established by the AASHTO Committee on Materials and Pavements or comparable laboratory accreditation program approved by FHWA in order to perform material and testing services on this project. The selected consultant will be expected to provide detailed reports of all field testing and laboratory testing results obtained in association with these services.
