The Department oflnformation Technology Services, partnering with Minnesota Department of Corrections, intends to renew an existing agreement with Epicor Software Corp., for up to three years. The agreement provides licensing and hosting related to the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, Epicor Kinetic, which is used by MINNCOR Industries. This system helps manage the various business processes ofMINNCOR Industries, including planning, inventory, and labor.The ERP system was just recently procured and implemented by MINNCOR Industries and is the only system that will meet the business needs ofMINNCOR Industries. In addition, Epicor Software Corp. retains exclusive ownership rights and is solely responsible for providing the required licensing and hosting for this renewal. None of the required licensing and hosting can be provided through a thirdparty vendor. For these reasons, the Department of Information Technology Services, partnering with Minnesota Department of Corrections, has determined this to be a single source purchase.
