Contractor shall provide inspections, planned maintenance and emergency repairs for the District’s traffic management system. Contractor will make modifications, improvements and enhancements to the District’s traffic management system as directed by Owner. Contractor shall have on hand, and readily accessible, sufficiently staffed crews, vehicles, equipment, apparatus and materials to perform all work necessary to safely maintain and repair the traffic management system sites within the District, including but not limited to, traffic signals, emergency/flasher signals, intelligent transportation systems (“ITS”), signs and traffic management equipment listed in Section 4. All work, equipment, materials and procedures are to meet or exceed the most recent Federal Highway Administration (“FHWA”), Florida Department of Transportation (“FDOT”), District and applicable standards and requirements. The District may add or delete traffic management system sites respectively to or from this contract over time.
