Philo State Park Summit Improvements Project for the Department of Buildings & General Services on behalf of the Agency of Natural Resources – Department of Forests, Park & Recreation at 5425 Humphreys’ Road in Charlotte, Vermont. This project consists of, but is not limited to: The Mt. Philo Summit Improvements project at Mt. Philo State Park in Charlotte, Vermont includes primarily construction and site work at the summit area. Work consists of installation of new gravel pathways to the existing buildings and to the existing overlook area. Site will require regrading to improve ADA access. Along the pathways will also be the construction of dry-laid stone retaining walls/seat walls, and placement of new stone steps with associated handrails. The project also includes construction of a wood ramp to provide access to the summit building, and installation of a new door opening within the existing historic structure. Site improvements include construction of a new bluestone patio and the relaying of the existing historic stone patio, which must be installed identical to the current configuration.
