NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS AVISO DE SOLICITUD DE PROPUESTAS Port Freeport is publishing a Request for Proposal (RFP) to seek proposals from qualified firms who are interested to act as an Owner’s Cold Storage Industry Representative associated with the market development for a Cold Storage Warehouse and Cross-dock (“Cross-Dock #2” or “CD2”). CD2 will be an 84,000 square foot multi-temp warehouse and distribution center offering transloading, cross-docking, short and long-term storage, case pick, pallet modification, quality holds, pool consolidation and distribution, U.S. CBP agricultural inspections, blast freezing, and fumigations. The proposal shall be in lump sum monthly pricing, travel of up to 5 trips included and understand that there is no guaranteed contract term. All proposals shall be sealed in accordance with the RFP. The RFP can be found in the Public Notices section of the Port Freeport website at www.portfreeport.com. A hard copy of the RFP can also be picked up at the Administration Building at 1100 Cherry Street, Freeport, TX. Sealed proposals shall be delivered to the attention of Danielle Allen, Procurement Manager, at the Port Freeport Administration Building located at 1100 Cherry Street, Freeport, Texas by July 02, 2026, at 4:00 PM.
