The contract does not include postage payment options, as these were not negotiated. There are only three payment methods for postage with our Pitney Bowes machine; line of credit, prepaid account, or credit card on file. We utilize the prepaid account, or reserve account option. USPS is not a MN contract vendor for metered mail services and the only USPS authorized providers are Pitney Bowes, Quadient, Data-Pac or FP Mailing Solutions.There are several other contract vendors available for postage equipment and meter mail, however, we currently have a lease contract vendor, Pitney Bowes. Our only option for postage with their mail machine is by procuring postage through Pitney Bowes.Regardless of the vendor we go through, postage is not negotiated on a state contract, and postage is acquired through the vendor whom your lease is with.
