NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed bids will be received by Whatcom County Administrative Services Finance/Purchasing at their office on the fifth floor of the Whatcom County Courthouse, 311 Grand Avenue, Suite 503, Bellingham WA 98225 for purchase and installation of the following: Swift Creek Action Plan 2026 Construction UNTIL: 2:30 PM Tuesday, June 16, 2026 At which time and place the bids will be opened (virtual via Zoom), and read aloud. All bidders and any other interested persons are invited to watch the virtual bid opening via Zoom. Late submittals will not be considered. Whatcom County Public Works requests bids for the Swift Creek Action Plan 2026 Construction project. This contract provides for the improvement of Swift Creek site access, construction of haul roads, culvert installation, activities related to the management of Swift Creek sediment, excavation, and embankment related to repository development, and other work, as further described in the bid documents. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at the southwest corner of Goodwin Road Bridge over Swift Creek (7400 block of Goodwin Rd, Everson, WA). Only bidders who register at the mandatory pre-bid meeting will be qualified to submit bids.
