The City of Glendale is soliciting quotes for a 2027 or newer Ford F350 XL or equal Class III Super Cab and Chassis DRW with 9 ft utility body and liftgate. The vehicle must be new, unused, and delivered FOB Glendale, California. The vendor must be an authorized dealer of the manufacturer. The quote must be submitted on the attached form only, either electronically via the PlanetBids portal or in a sealed envelope. The vehicle must include a 7.3L V8 engine, 10-speed automatic transmission, dual batteries, heavy-duty suspension, dual alternators, 17-inch steel wheels with LT245/75R17E tires, 14,000 lb G.V.W.R., 6,000 lb payload, and a Scelzi SBD-108-94-49-38-VO or equivalent utility body. The body must include LED lighting, adjustable shelves, manual master lock system, two pole lights with Optronics TLL70 LED work lights, six Whelen ION Series Super LED amber strobes, a 1500W pure sine-wave power inverter, a Cab Rack, a Tommy Gate G2 Series liftgate with 1,300-lb capacity, polyurea cargo area, and a 6'' smooth steel step bumper. The vehicle must also include a Ford Pro Power Onboard 400W outlet, backup camera, power windows, power locks, heated mirrors, dual 12V and one 120V AC power outlet, USB ports, and a full set of manufacturer manuals. The warranty must be a minimum of three years or 36,000 miles, effective from the date of service. The vendor must register the vehicle with the California DMV for exempt government use and provide all registration documents. The quote must be valid for at least 30 days from the closing date and may not be withdrawn after submission.
